Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Crimson Tech Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects through this website and in the course of delivering our products and services, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

Crimson Tech Pvt Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected via this website.

• Address: Biomedicum Research Block B & C, Saptakhel, Balkumari-09, Lalitpur, Nepal
• Email: engineering@crimsontech.io
• Phone: +977 9849506992

2. What we collect

We only collect data you actively give us, plus limited technical data needed to run the site securely.

• Enquiry data — name, email address, phone number, company/interest, and the content of your message, submitted through our contact form.
• Technical data — IP address and basic request information, recorded with enquiries to prevent spam and abuse.
• Analytics data — aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics (pages viewed, referrer, approximate region). We do not build advertising profiles.

We do not collect special category data, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

3. Why we use it (lawful basis)

• To respond to your enquiry — on the basis of your request / steps prior to entering a contract.
• To deliver and support our products — on the basis of contract performance.
• To keep the site secure and improve it — on the basis of our legitimate interests.

4. Customer inspection data

Our vision and IoT systems are deployed on-premise, on your own network, and run without an internet connection. Inspection images, production data, and trained models remain on your infrastructure. They are not transmitted to us, and we do not operate a cloud service for them to be sent to.

Where you explicitly share sample images or data with us for a proof of concept, model training, or support, we use them solely for that purpose, keep them confidential, and delete or return them on request.

5. Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate (for example email delivery, website hosting, and analytics), and only as far as needed. Where we work with a system integrator partner on your project, we share only what is necessary to deliver it. We may also disclose data where required by law.

6. Retention

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Project and contractual records are kept as required by applicable law and accounting rules. Data no longer needed is deleted.

7. International transfers

We are based in Nepal and operate across South Asia. If you contact us from the European Economic Area or the UK, your enquiry data will be processed in Nepal. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email engineering@crimsontech.io. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Cookies & analytics

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any analytics we run is configured to be privacy-respecting and aggregated. Essential cookies may be used strictly to make the site function.

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), restricted access to enquiry records, and on-premise deployment of customer systems with no cloud component.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
